    Hi Folks;

    Captured this Trichocereus Fling Saucer in our garden in season. This beautiful large blossom, about 9' across brings folks ooh'n `n aw`n.

    Mostly done in CS5 with a detour to Alien Skin for the pastel effect for the background.

    Comments alway welcome and paid attention to.

    Keep smiling

    Gus

    Great colors, great swirls and an eye-popping flower! Is it alien skin that makes those bold stokes in the bkgd? It is the same effect that I liked on your goldfinch.

    Thanks Ladies:

    Here is the background done withFilter>distort>Twirl at max. Then I took it into Alien Skin & gave it the default pastel with slight adjusments to suit. Yes, same as Lesser Goldfinch.

    Lots of fun this OOTB . . . eh! (Canuck speak)

    Very nice, Gus. I too like the water color effect... it almost has a touch of Asian art in it. Nicely done!
