Following on from my shot of a Red Kite feeding on the wing taken at Gigrin Farm in Wales posted yesterday, I now post the next shot in the sequence.
I wasn't sure about this one as he did not have the food fully in its beak and the wing was quite straight, but the sun is now on his face, so I am not struggling with shadow detail so much.
Anyway let me know what you think.... (and who says a IDMKIII doesn't follow focus in AI Servo :eek::eek:)
I'm glad you are having fun with the Mark III. Love the action on this one. The eye is priceless. Shame the bird is flying away from you but a very nice capture for sure.
Great head angle but a bit too contrasty for me. The fact that he is carrying a piece of steak turns me off a bit.
