    Canon 7D Canon 500mm tripod head,f4 L IS ISO 400 1/250 sec f5
    Shot taken from a hide in the back garden, sunflower seeds as bait. I was lucky for a few moments, most of the shots today were ISO 800 to ISO 1000

    Very nice feather details and an killer BG you have here. Different kind of head turn. Looks as though he was on to you. Not sure about the crop. If you have more space I would consider trying a crop with a tad more room, as though the bird needs a tad more room.

    Funny head turn and expression. I like the bg and detail yet agree with more room left side, just a little

    Sharp, nice detail and good eye contact. The oof perch weakens this image IMHO.

    Hi Jon, I like the inquisitive pose, and good DOF on the finch. Another killer BG, and comp wise, I would take off from the top, a touch from the bottom, add a little to the right, and a bit more to the left. That should give you reasonable landscape format.

    Excellent image. I really like the background, great pose with a great head angle, superb detail, and a little more dof to get the perch in focus would have been nice. Still a great shot.
