I liked this when I saw it on your blog, but it's even more appealing, now. Probably because I often forget to click for the larger view on the blog. The colors all work well together, and the texture you chose is a perfect complement for the multiple-exposure flower. I really like that you masked to get just a single exposure for much of the center of the flower. Also -- and much to your credit -- it was nicely placed to fit the perspective of the flower.
My inclination would've been to put the stem in the lower left for two reasons: It wouldn't interrupt the flow of vision when viewing the image, and most people would likely expect it to be below the flower rather than above. I'm curious about why you placed it in the upper left.

I guess it's the way you choose to view the image on whether or not it gets interrupted. Also I 'm not fond of doing the expected so why start now...

Hey, that's great, love the contrast and blending of the colors with your subtle texture.
Way to go.

Outside the box works here. Love this and love that you shared how it was done. Very creative/artistic.

I'm certainly going to check out your blog. I really like the watercolor texture of the bkgd and how it complements/contrasts with the interesting multiple soft edges of the petals.

Great looking effect and like the texture and water color feel to this, Denise. The lavender BG & texture really complements the flower and yellow center. I would be curious to see version without the stem to compare. Very creative and way to explore new ideas & techniques.

This is awesome, Denise. I really like the effect... and your choice of colors. Excellent processing!
