    Dan - the strongly lit beach grass draws my eye away from the night scene of the boardwalk which I think was intended to be your main focus. Maybe more of a pano crop eliminating the beach grass and some of the vacant beach mg then you can use the walkway and lit area as a leading line from the rhs. In a scroll crop it works well. I like the warm tones and the bursts at the lights.

    I would agree with Rachel on the FG. The building, in this image, does not appear to be architecturally interesting. Perhaps a more up close visit is needed to concentrate on the more interesting patterns, shapes and forms of the building is in order.
