    I placed some camouflage netting over a trellis or sometimes I erecta hide (blind) in the back garden. Approximately 3m distant I placed perches next to feeding stations.
    Canon 20D
    100-400L IS @400m
    +1/3 ISO 400
    1/800 sec @ f5.6

    Hi Jon,
    I really like the composition,eye contact and bg,I would prefer a bit more sharpening for my taste

    Thanks Manos, I have had a couple of tries but I think the light is the main problem, I think the plumage is reflecting the light a little too much. I agree though it does look better with a little more sharpening.
