This is the same image as previously posted. Unfortunately, I lost track of the steps used, but liked the effect so decided to share. I think the sepia tone is obvious. I also changed the image to B&W, used Topaz Lens Effects ND filters to adjust the sky and water area, and adjusted the tones in CS4. But from there ????

Mark, I especially like the gold and black tones in the water. Nice comp. Very versatile image.

I like the tones, the perspective, and the diagonal. It may be just me, but I'm not sure about the wide, stark black frame. It seems to compete with the rest of the image. I wonder about overlaying it with a low opacity pattern and/or changing the color . . .

Very nice, Mark. I love Cedar Key. Did you find the Scrub Jays?

Thanks all for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.

Dennis, Thanks for your comments. I do appreciate it, but my preference is to have a black BG for images, especially color, to bring out more of the color. I find that the white BG of the board reduces the impact of the color. But that is a personal choice, I appreciate your thoughts as well.Soem will and some won't!

Thanks Maureen, no not this time. We were showing friends the area and didn't spend a lot of time exploring. As they just came froma cruise on the Amazon, a bird is a bird! They were more interested in the cuisine of the area. But as we told them, regarding their choice for viewing areas, we can go back tomorrow or the next day! We also enjoy the Key and will frequent it due to it's location. Close is good!

Hi Mark, this has a very nice look to it with the gold tones.
