    Default Looking-over-the-shoulder Sharpie

    This was high in a tree in our yard recently, hence the steep angle. But I thought the bird had a nice look anyway. I had to clone away some oof branches.

    D7000, 300 f/4 AF-S + 1.7TC. Hand-held. 1/1000, f/6.7, ISO 360.

    Hi Richard,
    Happy New Year and good to see you posting here! You are right about the steep angle but one has to take what one can. I like the diagonal line created by the branch and the uncluttered BG. I also like the position of the sharpie between the buds. I see a fair bit of noise on the tail and would do some selective NR.I am trying to figure out why because your ISO is only 320. Is this a big crop?
    I might also clone out the lower branch,
