This is another 2 image photomerge. This post is a test of my newly recorded action to produce the proper size/proper sharpened images for this forum. I followed Art Morris's recommendations. I think that I started with a previously unsharpened image, but I am not too happy with the posted image in terms of sharpness. What do you all think? I would appreciate any comments.
Love the reflection. However I would like to mention few things. There is a lot of noise in the reflections and this could be due to lighten up the shadows. The bird on the left could have a little more head turn toward you.
Not sure what you mean by a photo merge Dan? Could be a digital creation? Let me know.
Dan the action Artie mentions for sizing and sharpening is more for doing large number of images I would not recommend for posting For posting you should do one at a time and bring out the best
As Maxis pointed out the second bird has the head looking away. Both look a little contrasty and I'm sure the automatic sharpening did not help much I like still water and wish the reflections were stronger It s a close call but might be tempted to eliminate !!!
Thanks for the help Alfred. I think you are right, I need to sharpen seperately. I have been struggling with the process of getting the image files below the 150kb size limit and still maintaining sharpness. I will get there. Maybe if I use Arts resizing instructions and then sharpen individually?
By photomerge, I mean that I used PS file/automate/photomerge to stitch and blend two images of the same bird together, producing the posted product. Thanks again, Dan Brown
Dan when you merge two images makes it a digital creation It would be more appropriate to post in out of the box
btw are you sharpening after getting to the desired size image? There should be no quality problem at 150kb Let me know if its giving you any problems !!!
Thanks for the tips. I didn't know exactly where to post this image, it doesn't fit the panoramic 800X300 size constraints. I didn't think of the out of the box cat. Thanks again, Dan
