Good detail/sharpness for the 70-200f/4 and I quite like the pose Brendon, just find the flash rather strong and over powers the look & feel of the image for me.

Nice environmental shot. The flash is a bit intrusive. Good comp as well,

Brendon - nice detail and sharpness with a good look at the camera. I agree though about the flash feeling too strong.

Thanks very much all, agreed the flash does seem a quite a bit over powering here, but the original not, i find the image difference beween sites quite interesting, will adjust this tho a repost soon.

I'm afraid no matter what, the image will have a strong "flash look" to it. Maybe a mono-tone, sepia??

    Love those eyes Brendon.
The repost is better for me. Was it flash or spotlight that you used here?
I wonder if selectively burning the foliage a bit more would result in a better overall feel?
