Super diving pose. The timing of this shot was on the money. Love how the tail is pulling the water up, the nictating membrane is prepared for the dive, the feet are showing through the water, and the droplets are sweet. Colors are rich, exposure looks great. I find this to be a very pleasing image, Jeron.

Great colors and I like the raised tail too. Wish to not see the membrane but it does tell the story

    Jeroen,
i love the tail part and water shape better than the beautiful bird itself.
Does not mean i didn't like the bird. superb sharp and the sheen on head is awesome with the nictitating membrane half way visible .

i wish some more room around as its too tight

Great capture here. I like the tighter crop. The texture in the water is gorgeous and the colors and detail in the bird are very nice. TFS

Jeron, what a shot. the water texture is absolutely gorgeous. And the tail is quite special. great job on the whites. If mine, I'd experiment with raising the midtones a tad.
