    Default Lesser Yellow-headed Vulture

The year has started and I am back on tour; right now in France. But I still have many images from the time spent home in Mexico that I would like to share with you guys. Here is a nice vulture to start 2012 with. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions.

great pose and nice exposure, the iridescent blacks gives great definition. I'd bump the contrast a tad. well done

Great image Lorant! I like the pose, details, sharpness and BG. I would tone down the bright area on the perch and foot a little.

Now that is a beautiful vulture...and a new one for me! Great pose, and note the perfect head angle. I'm with Jim about toning down the perch and front leg, but man I can't get over the colours on the face. I know the specks are natural from its scanvenging behaviour and some would not like them all gone, but you could eliminate just the larger ones - especially mid-back and on the tail.

    Good luck on your travels!

Hi Lorant, good comp, and the vulture has posed nicely for you. I like the detail in the feathers, well exposed and sharp. If this were mine, I would darken the BG a touch more.
