This owl has generated a lot of excitement in Essex County. I went out today to find it and was happy to get some images. I should be packing for Costa Rica now but had to process some images. Added a bit of canvas and removed a couple of branches. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

That slight tilt-down on the head is my favorite HA for a Great Gray Owl!! Perfect exposure - you even got the white "bow-tie" in check. Ditto Arash about the OOF branches below.

I have a box full of GGO images from my one and only year doing slides...and nothing since going digital...

Wonderful image. Love how his feathers drape over the branch.

Hi Jim, great eye contact here, and these guys have the most interesting faces to look at - love all the shapes and detail. Overall, nice and sharp, with a smooth complimentary BG.

A terrific shot....the eye contact is just PERFECT....the OOF branch below the tail doesn't bother me much.
Overall, if I was to find any fault, I would be desperately nit picking....
