Retired now and want to start nature wildlife photography. I have been practicing with a Sony A55 for the last year. Man there is a lot to learn. For retirement i was given a 70-400mm Sony G lens ( Nice really appreciate that) Presently I have been doing more landscape But I am hoping that when we got to Florida in Feb. to do some wildlife crocs and birds.Any advoce or comments are welcome

Hi Karl: Welcome aboard and congratulations on your retirement and your new toy. You'll find this site a great place for educational resources. You may wish to start looking in the "Eager to Learn" ETL forum, as well as the Educational Resources forum as mentioned.

If you do plan on heading this way in February, feel free to post in the Florida regional forum so that I can give you some ideas on places you may wish to visit and photograph during your visit.

Have a great year in 2012 full of new opportunties and adventures.
