    Default Goldfinch feeding

    Name: goldfinch_crop.JPG
Views: 75

Had a rare wintry sunshine filled day. Decided to take my new 600 F4 IS on its second outing and got this goldfinch feeding on a purpose built feeder. Cropped from landscape to vertical.

Canon 7D, 600 F4 IS, ISO 640, 1/500@f4, +2/3ev, converted from RAW to JPEG using DPP.

    Comments are welcome.

Mital, I think I need to micro adjust the 7D/600F4. According to the camera, the AF point is just around the eye.

Thanks Arash. Just followed your tethered method to micro adjust 7d/600f4. Can't wait to try this proven method on the field.

Hi Ezhil, this guy has such a variety of colours. Hope you get sorted, as I would love to see this guy in focus.

Thanks a lot for all your comments. I've micro-adjusted AF and planning to give it a try this weekend.

Personally I feel that goldfinches are relatively co-operative compared to other small birds such as blue tits. Not sure if this is the case though.
