One of the very beautiful species I had the opportunity to photograph on a recent Alan Murphy, Arizona workshop.

Joe, I like this capture, the composition is quite nice. The detail is good and I appreciate the catch light in the eye. Interesting pose too!

    Well done...

beautiful bird and pose you got here. nice clean perch.
a round of nr on bg. some dust spot touch up would be nice addition.

the buds tip got blow and i think a little less contrast would have been good.

composition is just right to me.

Love the sharpness, the feather details, the unusual pose and beautiful perch. The background is very beautiful, a round of NR and dust spot cleaning would make this even better.

Hi Joe, lovely setting, and just love the show off pose. Perched nicely between the two sets of flowers, and I do like the hint of blue in the BG.

Lovely. I might smooth out the green diagonal line that is the the left of the bottom flower. The BG looks like a pained back drop- lovely. I too see some dust spots and would tidy those up as well as this image is well worth it,

Beautiful composition and pose!! Lovely background, and I agree some noise reduction on it would be great. Some of the flowers could be toned down a bit. All around a very appealing image!!

You captured great personality with this shot. I just love the pose and head turn with the open bill. I do see noise in the BG easily fixed. I would love to have this image.
