    Hi Patrick,
Like your bird , but you need to crop a little to the left of the frame so that you can off center your subject. In addition, there is too much saturation in the background; and your subject is a wee bit out of focus...:D

H Patrick very nice set up and your patience paid off !!!!!

Particularly clean and elegant feel !!!! Gus is correct in the focus part I think the critical part is on the leave edge not the bird's eye? Position wise its fine with me the bird is left of center with the flower tilted to the subject The bg is mostly taste I do like the bg color but you would need a sharper bird to make it pop. Would back down the saturation of the red flower just a bit It tends to overpower the bird.

Didn't post all the tech info but the bg seems to have some noise Not sure if its from high ISO (don't think so) or from S/H (most likely) Noise Ninja should be able to take care in no time. The exp comp along with the other tech info would let us know which it was !!! Hoping to see more I like it !!!

Very nice phot Patrick, tend to agree with al on the flower overpowering the bird.
Otherwise a beautiful shot and pleasing backgrond.
    Congratulations.
