    Default Hawfinch

I think the hawfinch is a very beautiful and powerfull looking bird. It can crush a cherry stone just like that with its beek.

    Hi Patricia,
I like the IQ and the details of the feathers. I find the bird too large in the frame and would loosen the crop if you have the room. Nice layered BG,

    Patricia,

this is a killer frame. superb sharpness and the creamy bg over to this beautiful birdie. You seem to be so close.
I agree with gail on loosing a crop if you have chance to do so.

Hi Patricia, a good HA here, and the angle of capture just on the edge of being to high. Lovely detail and colours on this species, and I can see why they can do so much damage with a beak like that. I do like the coloured BG. I agree, the bird is too large in the frame.

Nice colours and details. The bird stands out quite well.

To me this image really give me the "wow" feeling of being right there very near the bird. Love the sharpness and feather details too.

Thank you so much for showing an interest in my picture. I have tried to do as you have suggested and made the bird smaller in the frame and it worked better.

    with kind regards
