    Troy:

Good landing pose, like the full wing spread, well exposed.

I normally don't alter the saturation, but this image could stand a bit more to my eye.

I might also consider a small crop from below, and a very small one from the right.

    Happy New Year!

    Cheers

Repost looks great. Good wing spread and head position.

Hi Troy, good landing pose with the outspread wings, and I like how the spoonie stands out against the darker BG. Your repost does look better.

    Troy:

I looked at your image again, and I do like the crop in the repost, and the slight boost in sat., but the bird still seems a bit flat. I spent a minute boosting the contrast on the bird only. Subtle, but I think it helps the bird pop a bit more from the background without looking unnatural.

Your choice of course, just trying to polish the apple a bit.

    Cheers

I liked the first re-post the best. The second one looks a bit over procesed. This is , of course, a matter of taste. Overall I think this is a fine image. I might have cropped off the bottom to get rid of the oof foreground.

I like the landing pose with full wing spread and the 3D effect this one has. I also prefer the 1st repost, even though the 2nd one has more dimension on the bird the color punch out too much for me (however I never see these in real life so the color comment is just my feeling).
