    Hello everyone. Well during my this holiday brake I had a chance to go through some pics that I had taken this past summer. I found a couple of this sandpiper that I had not processed. I came upon a group of these little fellows and most were more than willing to let me get close. Here is a shot of one them right after it finished scratching.
    C&C welcomed and encouraged.
    Camera - Nikon 300s, Lense - Nikon 300 F4 w/1.7tc, Exposure - 1/640, Aperture - F8, ISO - 250, Focal Length - 765mm, Metering - Multi Segment, Manual.

    Nice to have the time to go back and process files!! Neat end-of-scratch pose and I like the raise crown. Not crazy about the comp though - the subject feels cramped in the frame left and right.

    Hi Robert, well timed to capture the raised foot after his scratch. In most cases, this pose would suit a vertical, but in this, I can actually see this in landscape. ( it will then include all of the shadow )
