    Default Minature Elegant Trogon

    Hi Folks;

    Elegant Trogon was captured at Madera Kubo B&B, Madera Canyon, AZ on the Pyracanther tree across from the office eating the berriesbin December 2010. Has been seen there again this December.

    Tried to keep it simple, so took a black background to free FotoSketcher to enhance, then back to CS5 and stroke to finish it.

    Comments always welcome and appreciated.

    Happy New Year

    Gus & Gina

    Here's a B&W version- will be going to bed in 2012 in 5 minutes.

    Gus, I prefer the original color version. I just noticed the corners are different on the inner frame than the outside. I like it. Mostly, I like the Trogon's centered position in the frame, with the head, tail and branch extending beyond the borders. Nice touch. Would love to see this bird close up. Nice capture, nice pose, well cone.

    I like them both with a nod to the color version. Nicely "framed"

    Looks like a beautiful bird, Gus. I like the color one best and it really stands out with your creative framing. Wish it was bigger to see more details of bird.

    Hi Brendan;

    Here is the original as Gina captured it in December 2010. Reduced in size to BPN specs.

    Lovely image and framing, Gus, and very unique. I like the color version a little better, but the B&W version is very nice too. Well done!
