Taken a few dyas ago here in Sydney. Haven't been active in here lately as I mostly photograph birds.
I have used the Canon 800 f5.6 plus the 1.4 converter and I am very please with the results. I just love this lens!!!

Nearly full frame - taken as a vertical.

    Default Wonderful

Excellent image. The eyes invite you to this shot, and the image has come out sharp. We have lot of bats here but dont get such opportunities to photograph.Either they hang upside down in "low light" areas(trees) or flying at night. This is a wonderful image.

    Regards

Great image with some really nice subject isolation and a great BG. The 800mm is a really fine lens. Love mine.

Killer image and actually very sweet.
It does appear that maybe some NR bled into the bats at the edges as there is a bit of a fringe
    around the heads?
    Wonderful Photo.

Thanks for your commetns and a happy new year to all!
Dan, you got an excellent eye!! It's not a NR issue but I had a nasty bright area behind the head that I had to fix and couldn't get too close because of the fur.

Nice image Ofer. I like all the visible claws and the lines of the intertwining wings. You also got some nice eye contact and the colors of these guys really make them pop off that green BG.

Excellent image Ofer. Happy 2012 to you and yours!
I too saw the area Dan was referring too, thanks for the explanation. Was the bright area very bothersome? Would you mind posting a version without it?
