Default My favourity image from 2012

2011 has been quite a year for me. Started into bird photography really sereusly, ended highschool, met one of my photography idols, Glenn Bartley as he visited Peru and have grown up a lot a as a person. 2012 look very promissing, as im moving into Vancouver in Feb, going to stard university. Picking up my favourite image from 2011 was really hard. but it is this one, a Koepcke Screech-Owl. Which is a Peruvian endemic and its actually really hard to find. This was my first time photographing and night and was a real challenge. Hope you like it.

    Good luck with school.
Very nice Owl, love the eyes.
Would maybe tone down the bright spot just above the head.

I can see why you like this image. A great bird under difficult light. Congrats on graduating from high school and I know you will enjoy Vancouver.
I agree with dan to tone or clone out the white spot above the head,

A beautiful owl captured very well considering the conditions. In the future ,you might want to tone down the flash a bit as it has a very over flashed look. Might also consider a vertical crop. Congrats on graduation and good luck in the future.
