I created this image last year and don't remember what all I did to it but I used at least one "cracked ice" texture and Topaz Adjust and framed.

Judy, I love the image design and colors. It looks like it might need a slight rotation, not sure. The scratched look in the BG does look like ice-nice job!

    Nice image and application, Judy.

Reminds me of my past life ... shooting the last geese to fly south from Horicon NWR. They were fun to watch on landing!

Like this one and the effects used. Neat!

Thanks Denise. To my eye it doesn't look like it needs rotating, looking at the upper edge of the ripple and his feet, but I've been fooled before

Thanks Mark! I had posted a while back an image of a white pelican crash-landing on the ice at the same spot as a heron which was pecking on the ice like there was a fish down there. I didn't get to see very many landing on the ice as most of the birds were a long way off in the little remaining open water. I don't know why this lone ring-neck was in the area near the fishing pier nor why it didn't fly away as soon as I got out of the vehicle to photograph him although he did walk and then swim away in a leisurely fashion.

Great image! I like the pose of the duck and the ripple. The background is wonderful, especially the edge effect.

Nice work Judy! I love the processing and the scratches on the ice do look like they were made by ice skates.

This is great! The expression on the duck's face plays well to the "cracked ice" effect. And the surrounding blue is lovely.

Judy, I like the expression on the duck's face and the scratches on the ice add a lot to the image. Nice work

Hi Judy, This is great. Super expression on the Duck's face, he looks so animated. I agree with Denise, the texture really fits the image. I think the over-the-shoulder pose is terrific. I also like what yo did for a border. Overall, very well done.

This turned out great, Judy! Great pose, like the blue of ice and texture works perfect. Well done!
