OOTB - Best of 2011
As we come to the end of 2011, we thought of reflecting on the past year and each of us post one of our favorite OOTB image! From OOTB forum - Denise, Kerry and I would like to thank all of you for making this forum a creative experience and a fun place! Thank you!! Happy New Year and all the best for 2012!

This year I had great time photographing in SW Florida and in Homer, AK. Although, I had many favorite images, the one that tops the list was this Burrowing Owl zoom-blur taken at Cape Coral, FL in February.

It doesn't seem like a year since we last shared our favorites. But time has come as Indranil notes.
Like all, I feel that this was a great year for OOTB forum. A lot of friendships and knowledge have been shared here. I look forward to the coming year and the images to be viewed.
I also had a hard time deciding the image to post, as I have gotten more knowledgable of the post processing options and thus created some images that I remember, thanks to those here who critique for our benefit and learning. But given the meaning of this one, I felt it was appropriate as well as one of my personal favorites. It represents the "End of a Era" in America's history that we all lived. It symbolizes the final three launches of Atlantis, Discovery and Endevor, of which I was very moved and fortunate to view at the Cape.
So we can all say, thanks for the memories.
One suggestion I would have to Denise, Indranil and Kerry, is to move this post to the sticky area, if possible, so it doesn't end up moving to the bottom of the page as the days go on. Too good to loose!

One of my favs is the composites of smoke images. This one shows a few of the parts and beginning composites...
Denise, When I first saw this tree, I thought, great shot and angle, but then I scrolled down and spied that one leaf....over the top.
I had forgotten how fun it was to see everyone's favorite images for the year. Here's mine - for two reasons - I liked the fract effect and mood and also because it was a day of incredible bird activity at a local lake and I was fortunate to be there.

I like this image from 2011, because it was the point where the work with paint began to look more like sculpture than blobs of flying paint.

This may not be my best but it is my favourite, this bird sat in front of me for and hour, giving me great opportunities.
This was on of my favourites, the original is tack sharp, I ran it through Fotosketcher to create this watercolor.
The images you've all uploaded are great....yes I did say "great".

My favorite from last year. This is from my visit to India and I loved India. Plus I really like the mood of this image.
I've having a great time viewing these images. Some I remember and some I missed and so I'm thrilled to see them now! Everyone is most talented and creative!
