I would like to see a tad more neck. Lots of detail and those eyes just draw you in.

Thank you Dave ,Gus and Mike, It is a tad tight but with the 500 and the way he or she was looking out didnt really have time to set up the shot just focused and shot it right after I shot it the animal turned and went indoors. Thank you all for the kind words .

A really fine portrait. The eyes really make contact with the viewer and the detail is superb as is the very effective depth of field. I agree with Dave and Mike (and you, for that matter) that the crop is tight. One thing that might help would be to add a bit of canvas to the right and add a bit of the background on that side. That would give the bear a little more room to breathe. Since it is a very uniform background, it should be fairly easy to do.

Thank you Van , Alfred and Roman, If I knew how to add "canvas " I would attempt it. My PP skills are still in their childhood I have lots to learn , I really appreciate the comments.

Zoo shots are so hard. Sounds like you did well considering.
