    Mitch, I really like this. I especially like the pinks from the clouds reflected on the wings and in the water. I also like the Topaz effect on the water. Nicely done

    Thanks Cheryl,

    The sunset was on Dec. 23rd (most of my photos are of sunrises, but his sunset wrapped all the way to the south so I could see it). The mallard was from this morning...

    Nice composition, Mitch. I like the sky and the bg... it almost has a watercolor effect. The mallard stand out well. I can see a bit of halo around the wings.. probably artifact from remask which can be fixed easily. I also thought of another alternative with reduced brightness on the duck. That would create a different mood. TFS.

    Mitch, Very nice bold colors. I like the in-your-face look here. Beautiful clouds and I do see the artifacts that Indranil mentioned. I too like the pink color reflected in the water.

    Nice job with Remask on this one, Mitch. Agree with the suggestions above. Really like the Simplify treatment on the water, as Cheryl pointed out. Good job keeping the details.
