Very nice. Great pose with sharp eye and beak. Maybe you can improve it a little by darkening the foreground and getting rid the out of focus parts and a couple of little sticks that are standing out alone in the foreground.

Very nice. Tack sharp and great BG. Perhaps a tad oversharpened? I would clone out bright OOF piece of wood to the right of bird's foot,

With two claws above and one below showing I'm OK with the obstructed foot. Vertical comp is a no-brainer, and lovely green background. As posted I agree the image seems aggressively sharpened, and I too would remove the OOF parts of the perch.
