"Nature Interpreted" - Photography begins with your mind and eyes, and ends with an image representing your vision and your reality of the captured scene; photography exceeds the camera sensor's limitations. Capturing and Processing landscapes and seascapes allows me to express my vision and reality of Nature.
Jay - thanks for posting the links, some great photos. Interesting that it seems the majority of the nature shots in the third link were of captive animals.
Rachel
Hi,
Thanks for the links - all very interesting photos, and I agree with Rachel. I wonder what sort of critique #12 in the 3rd link would have got here on BPN?

I am not one of the experts, but it doesn't appear to me to be that strong a photograph. It's not horrible, but even in my short time here, I'd say a larger percentage posted by members here are much better. I often wonder why people make lists like "The 50 best..." of anything so subjective as photography or music. Why not "50 really good" whatevers? I mean, I know 'best' sounds more important, but it's just not realistic to say it. Darned marketing people.
