Lamb. Plenty of lions on the forum so I thought I'd close out 2011 with this late afternoon shot from earlier in the Summer. May 2012 be a happy and healthful year for all. 7D, 1-400L, f6.3, 1/1000s, ISO 640, +2/3 EC, HH, cropped some off left (as viewed).

Nice photo with very nice light.
I think the BG competes with it for attention, maybe tone down the rock to the right just a bit.

Lovely mountain image, love the goat which has great detail but agree with Dan that toning down the rock would stop the eye going there so much. Have a great 2012 as well.

    Hi Steve,
Happy New Year to you too.
I like the composition of the image. The position of the lamb is excellent. I really like the dirty knees of the lamb-reminds me of my kids when they were little! I like the splashes of green in a fairly monochromatic image. My only nit is the big white rock to the right. I would tone it down as it competes with the lamb.

Hi Steve, like the saturated colours, works well against the almost pristine white of the subject. Small 'nit' already covered.

Look forward to seeing more in the New Year Steve.
