Hope you all had a good Christmas.
Getting low and isolating an individual bird at Bosque is no easy task. I wish the feather was a few inches closer to get it in focus.

Personally, I like everything about this, including the somewhat oof feather. The oof feather ads a nice bit of balance and interest to your wonderfully sharp Snowgoose. Love that background too.
    Beautiful image, Alan.

I am heading to the Bosque for a photography field workshop on the 3rd of January - and really looking forward to it.
    Have a great New Year!

Really love this one , Alan ! While this is amazing , I feel it would also look good with the transition in the BG a bit higher/lower in the frame ..... just above the head or at the neck.

Looks great Alan, awesome colours and beautiful whites (that is one CLEAN individual!!) Love the vertical comp and the water drops on the subject pop nicely.

Great water colors and I like the drops of water on the goose. I like that you left the feather.
