    This is a Lesser Kestrel Juvenile male. This is my first of the species as they are quite rare here in India.

    Spec: 1/5000, F 5.6, ISO 800.

    Mk4+500mm+1.4TC

    WOW. really nice image. The bird is perfectly sharp, Tech looks spot on!

    Nice sharp detail. Pose looks a little akward. I would darken the midtones a bit too.

    Excellent shot. I really like the wing position, great head angle, and love the background. I agree on the its meal being a big bonus.

    Love thew way this guy is grasping the prey! Neat pose even if it does look like it is losing balance, and I agree darkening the midtones would be beneficial, as well as darkening the pupil (which seems to have a slight haze over it).

    Congrats on the rare sighting!!
