INCA TERN V HABITAD (PERU)

Havent been shootig in a while..
i went to my spot for Inca Terns. There was not much going on. But i saw this one on a rock with all that seaweed and the couple crabs and thought it was a nice habitad shot. Well here it is. All comments & critiques are welcome. For my self-critiques, i wish i would have stoped down for more DOF. but didnt have my tripod with me..

Really interesting photo with the tern and crabs in the same capture. Very nice composition in spite of the DOF limits you faced without a tripod. Without the crab I imagine the crop would have been different. I do find the border distracting.

Real nice shot. I really like the pose, love the perch, and really like the crabs. I feel that as presented the bird feels a tad small in the frame. Maybe cropping at the bottom of the large center stone might balance it better. Either way still a great shot.

Love your shots of this beautiful Tern. Colors and environment here are lovely. But I think I might try cropping up to eliminate the lower crab -- Just too much oof foreground for me.
