I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday I loved the entries for this theme and the interpretations. Lots of nice ones.

1st - Just Cows, Mitch Carucci. Mitch, this is my favorite of your floods and I thought the filtering turned this into a beautiful painting. I could see it hanging over a mantle in a ranch house in Texas

2nd - Cattle Chute, Jay Sheinfeld. Another beautiful scene, evocative of the Old West. I can envision the cows and cowboys

3rd - A Cowgirl with her horse and dog, Nancy Bell. Nancy, you and your horse and dog look like a team. Loved the filtering.

4th - Cowgirl Portrait, Mitch Carucci. Mitch, she looks like someone who could tell you tales for hours on end. Nice work

And an honorable mention to the most humorous entry - NOT: Yellowstone Cowgirl, Maureen Allen. This was sooo funny (and creative).

Thanks, everyone. I hope 2012 is a GREAT year for everyone. It is so nice to be involved with so many talented people who are willing to share their knowledge and insights.
