Here is a photo of an Osprey from a few days ago. I went with this unusual crop to bring the vertical feeling to a better level. Let me know what you think. Comments are welcome.

The crop looks good for the shot.
In a perfect world would have liked to see some engagement from the bird,
a look toward the camera instead of away.
I like the crop and the fact that eye is visible. god underwing details. well done.
I also like the crop of this incoming flight shot, Lorant. Perfectly excecuted.
(Long time no see)
I like the pano crop too, and the head-down "scanning for fish" pose is fine with me. Some whites on the head are clipped, I'm sure you can tame those nicely during raw conversion...
Hi Lorant, lovely symmetrical flying posture, and I like the pano crop too. Good to see the eye, and if he was closer, this would have been even better.![]()
Crop works great for this image, very nice shot. I too am ok with the HA.
As is the case with almost everyone else, I like the pano crop. It works well for the bird with outstretched wings...reminds me of a similar crop that was used in a photo of a jet fighter. As for the head angle, I like that too. You caught the bird doing his thing and not worrying about someone with a camera. Plus, ospreys almost always look at you when you get their attention so that type of head angle is very common. Good, unique work.
