It was fun watching these passage migrants hunt caterpillars, these birds are really fast and difficult to nail in flight, so kept my patience and waited for to hunt and would move closer to catch them taking off back to their perch.

have cloned out some grass blades from below.

    Spec: 1/3200, F 5.6, ISO 400

    Mk4+500mm+1.4TC

    Regards,

    Kiran.

Great picture. Great BG. I liked the way the wings are. Food in the bill did picture of something extra. Well done.

Wonderful capture Kiran...Loved the wing position and sharp head and legs with caterpillar in beak...nice BG as well..was this taken in morning as shadow does not look harsh under the right wing..

Kiran, excellent shot. you nailed the bird at the right angle. food always a plus. And your signature eye level shooting angle. Well done. am sure this was not easy.

Difficult to pull off, and you did so quite wonderfully!! Great complimentary BG too. I would only smooth out the slight smudge directly above the bill. All else looks fantastic!!!

An impressive image! Beautiful soft light, and detail. I think I see some motion blur on the head but I still like the shot.

Superb image with great pose I feel the prey can take a bit of sharpness specifically on the back end
