Default Sanhill Crane flying back for the night.

I wanted to post my "best flight shot" of this bird.
I opened it in DPP to get the exif that I copy over here when I noticed that it was shot in Aperture Priority Mode that I virtually never use for bird photography.
Then I remebered that I landed one of my cameras and lenses to my wife as she left hers at the Motel by accident on that day.
This is not as fancy as hers but is still ok I guess. It was taken about 20-25 minutes before sunset at Bosque.
    Thanks for looking.

    Hi Karl,
Very nice pink sky that compliments the birds' red head. Great eye and sharp. I would selectively brighten the bird. I like the wing position although fully up or down is more pleasing for me. All in all, a nice image that I would love to have,

Well done Karl, you nailed the angle, sharpness and that sweet BG. Eye looks perfect.

Beautiful image! Maybe a tiny bit more room on the left.

Hi Karl, good flying posture, sharp where it counts, and I really like the soft pinks of the BG. Another vote for lightening the crane a touch more.

Super eye contact and sharpness. Love the pink sky. Wing position isn't the greatest, and I think the bird could go a little brighter. Another vote for a bit more canvas on the left. Hope you had fun at the Bosque!
