I don't have much related to the cowboy up theme, but I found this image from Colorado back roads. I didn't do the bi-weekly theme designation, I thought it was too much of a stretch!
Simplify BZ, with a whole lot of grunge. Hope you like it..................

Jay, this is super! Great shot and processing. Red, green, and blue -- gotta love it. The sky, the mountains, the texture of the grass, the diagonals. . . They all add a lot to the image, but that cattle chute is the magic. And the clouds and mountains lead right to it. I have no idea how you find these back road places, but you should write a book (with locations listed, of course).

Thanks Dennis. I thought I looked up the spelling of Cattle Shoot/Chute............thanks for the correction. Directions: Drive to southwest Colorado, Durango, and follow the Million Dollar Highway north to Ourey. Stop every 10 feet and take a picture.

    Jay,
    I do like it - a lot.
The image before post processing is strong on it's own, as Dennis covered.
You choice of post processing feels like it was meant to be used on this image.

Excellent composition, Jay. Love the perspective and your processing certainly brings out a lot of character.

Ditto on what Indranil said; the composition and point of view is perfect, and the processing fits it perfectly!
