I like the low angle and sharpness of the eye. However, I think it needs more room all around. If this is not full frame, I would like to see a less severe crop.

Background, foreground, exposure and lightquality all work well for me. I also like that light shadow on the side of the bird. To improve the image, however, I would have tried to back up a bit (if possible), so as to allow room for the virtual legs on the bottom. This would have also allowed for some empty space on the right. The background is awsome though...

Nice shot thinking of the coloration. I am not a big fan of wall-to-wall bird images so my recommendation is have more room around.
