It was very cold this morning and a little windy. Not much activity. This lesser (I think) scaup was all alone and diving for clams only infrequently, and with not much luck either. I was lucky to "get" anything. Cropped almost 50% . . .
Some days are like that...such is the nature of bird photgraphy! Nice green showing on the head, and love the bright yellow eye. I also like the water streaking off the breast. I'd prefer a lower angle if possible, but you did get some nice texture to the water from the higher vantage point.
