    Photographed this beautiful Long-eared Owl in the UK this spring at a rehabilitation centre for Owls and other birds of prey.

    Love the soft light and the pastel BG. Excellent detail. I'm not crazy about the barbed wire; it seems out of place.

    agree with Dough about the wire. Loved the bokeh, backlight and the composition. Since its an owl, a direct stare at you would have been better.

    The wire should be easy to get rid of.
    I also think a crop on both the top and bottom would look nice.
    I like the mood, I don't mind that the owl is not looking at you.
    I like the bit of focus on the foliage below the bird, and the perch and BG are nice.
