close to the same spot as http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...read.php/92813. not that exact sweet spot and light though.

liked the pose. He bolted so fast that I got him on the right side of the frame. no more room there.

Looks just fine to me central in the frame. Wonderful detail in those blacks from the direct sunlight.

I like the subject placement too...not much else to do with the long tail and size in the frame! Speaking of the tail, I like the layered feathers. Good job with the techs. I get the impression the image may need a bit of CW rotation, and I'd try to smooth out the stronger lines on the BG at top.

Daniel took the words right out of my mouth. Like the striding pose and open beak. I might run a little selective sharpening on the breast and wing.

Great pose and that tail. I think rotation is needed too. I like the low angle too yet wish both feet were visible.

Hi KD, excellent exposure on this fellow, and love the hint of iridescence on the top of the wing. Good striding pose with the raised tail, and I like the softer colours of the BG. Another vote for some rotation needed.

I like the walking pose and love the layered feathers in the tail. Agree with smoothing out the block of green and brown at the top of the frame. Needs a bit of CW rotation. Excellent exposure on the blacks,
    Gail
