Angad, you certainly did have soft light for this, and I like the sharp detail. Im fine with the Harrier perched on the ground, and do like the overall BG. Is there any reason why you couldnt post this 1024 wide, as I believe this will look even better posted larger.
Good points from Stuart. Larger would def. help us critique the image more thoroughly.
The light was off to the left, leaving the face just slightly shaded, and I might try some very subtle shadow work to bring it up. The light is so soft that I think you could do the lightening unobtrusively.
Interesting colors which are much closer to out females. But certainly shyness and wariness seems a common trait. I like the nice pose, soft light and low shooting angle. Good suggestion about posting larger.
