    Todd:

Interesting image with strong sense of action from flying dirt, tongue out, twisting head and slanted mound.

Generally burrowing owl shots are pretty static looking, but not this one.

Good eyes, clean background. Looser crop than I usually prefer, but I feel like it works well here.

    I like it.

    Cheers

Hi Todd, she sure is upset about something, and the raised foot with the flying dirt adds to her attitude. Well timed on that part. I like the eye contact, smooth BG, together with the sloping ground.

Wow!!! Excellent image. Love the action captured, great timing on the raised foot, and tongue. I really like the light and background.
    Well done.

I am taking the lazy way out here and agree with everything Randy said. Love the diagonal of the mound and the flying dirt,

Todd, quite a strong composition with the sloping ground and the owl looking this way. Owl is very well placed in the frame. Nice clean Bg and some dramatic action at low angle...well done.

What an attitude indeed!! Great behaviour image, I love the perception of foot-stomping anger. Just a touch of flash would have filled the subtle shade on the belly and given you a nice catchlight.
