This is a white breasted kingfisher taking off. I know the HA is not up to the mark, still I thought of posting it.

    Spec: 1/5000, F 5.6, ISO 800.

Kiranbhai, fantastic take off posture with the full wingspread and fanned tail. Tack sharp, and I like the detail and colours. Killer BG too. Very well captured.

Spectacular capture with amazing underwing detail. Head angle is better than you think. This one screams for some Eye Doctor work....

A lot to like here Kiran! I think Artie has a good idea; try to bring out a little more life in the eye, and your head angle issue will disappear.

Kiran, had I taken it I think I would have thought of posing it too!! I agree about the eye and I would also have a look at the bill - not too sure what exactly but maybe a little more sharpening and or contrast.

Just really a great shot of really hard to capture birds (at least the North American cousins).
    Beautiful colors.

Very impressive!! HA not an issue for me either. Very nice BG, and perfect pose of this flying beauty!! At a minimum the eye needs a darker pupil.
