    It's been to long since I have posted anything here, see my recent post in wildlife for explanation (if interested).

    D7000, 400 2.8 w/1.4tc, 1/800, f5.6, iso800, man exp, tripod

    I really like the texture in the log and the green moss. I like the raised tail on the left bird. I would crop a bit tighter on the left and bottom. Nice image,

    You west-coasters are sure having a great time with the Snowies this year. I like the perch and the interaction between the two birds. I agree with Gail's crop suggestion. Lovely image!

    Nice interaction here, interesting perch, exposure looks good.

    If you have enough IQ, I would def. try several versions of the crop, tighten it up to play up the interaction between the birds.
