Another from my weekend in Chagrin, Ohio in October. I was raised up a bit here, as I wanted to try to get some reflections. Reflection not great here but I liked the drop of water on the bill, the ripple in front, the BG, and the alert head pose.

In CS5, some crop, sharpening, eliminated double catch light, cloned out a couple funky things in water, brought down the white areas in Viveza a bit.

All C & C greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking!

Everything about this image works for me Melissa! Sweet light, perfect head angle, the water droplet, and the gorgeous water. The shooting angle doesn't bother me in the least.

Shooting angle looks fine Melissa. I am lovin' the BG - can't tell where water becomes land. Cool. Nice work on the whites. The water drop brings it all together.

Nice shot Melissa. The water drop really adds to it as others have mentioned. Lovely BG, blends in nicely with the foreground. Maybe a tad bit more sharping? Looks like you have no shortage of Wood Duck images from Ohio. Nice job on all of them you have presented.

Your photo's are getting hard to critique!
Very nice, only a better reflection would have improved this.
The colors and exposure are about perfect.

The colours of the water and the colours of the bird combine to make a lovley image as presented.

Light and colous are amazing!! Agree with a tiny bit more sharpening and would also consider a slight CCW rotation.
