    This is a Nilgiri Flycatcher, an endemic to the hills of south india called the "Western Ghats". found in the higher reaches of the hills. Nilgiri translates to blue hills, the colour of the hills when seen from afar.

    Lovely specimen - I love blue birds of all kinds...
    Maybe a tad oversharpened as the fine detail looks a bit "crunchy"?

    Beautiful bird and pose Ramesh. Lovely background. Good detail and exposure. I think slightly over-sharpened too.
