    Hi Folks;

    I'll make a clean breast of trying out to be a Miner, oops, how can I be one at 87, I thought they were younger than 18 , Only the Shadow knows, and looking like his scruffy companion, I should too

    I called it "Fun", but looking closely, my left eye used to be called "Droopy" because before the operation I couldn't see over it. Now the Sawbones wants to do the right eye to match the left No way Jose! Next thing you know, it will be closed

    BTW: This was done in CS5 using Filter>Distort>Diffuse Glow & distorted imagination

    All Comments welcome and appreciated

    Gus,
    I think this is very artistic. You did a great job with the filters. I might eliminate some of the artifacts in the background if it were mine.

    This should take care of the artifacts? Trouble with a laptop, as I adjust screen position it darkens as I push it back

    What a novel idea, well done in the execution. You certainly look like you've been down a coal mine. Personally, I would have cloned your shirt to eliminate the red skin of your arm in the lower left corner.

    This repost is very dramatic. It is exactly how I would picture a miner. I really like how the black on the portrait fades perfectly into the bkgd, and the border is an excellent way to add to the "portrait" effect. Well done!
