    Default Giraffe newborn!

A little cramped for room as this was the camera/lens I had in my hand at the time this newborn approached mum for what
was perhaps her first feed, you can see the umbilical cord present.
Once again a scorcher of a day, but the light was quite diffused just at the right time.
Certainly the youngest giraffe I've seen and had the privilege to photograph........very touching.

    C & C most welcome

    Cheers
    Marc

Nice interaction here Marc and the colours look very nice, giving a very clean feel to the image, got to love than pattern. Cramped yes, but that is the way things go occasionally, however not having the tree in the BKG would have helped and given better/cleaner definition to the little one feeding. Might suggest running the nice, soft, diffused green along the ridge of the back, top LHC.

Marc, one has to be really fortunate to observe such events in my opinion.
Very nicely captured moment. Guess its a Thornicroft's Giraffe.
    Thanks for sharing, Marc.
